Streetwise Law

Streetwise Law in partnership with Young Greenwich currently have a fantastic opportunity to work with your school. Streetwise Law delivers a community education project working under the Young Greenwich Partnership which involves educating young people about their rights and criminal law. Funding has been secured to deliver our programme in schools in the Royal Borough of Greenwich . A 6-week programme which is completely free of charge is delivered including the following workshops: stop and search, rights on arrest, joint enterprise, sexting and other online offences, drug awareness, the trial procedure including a mock trial. Our workshops are delivered by a criminal barrister who brings her experience of the criminal justice system directly into the classroom. Previously, we have partnered with Plumstead Manor, Eltham Hill, Thomas Tallis and Stationers' Crown Woods schools and are now looking for another school to partner. As stated here would be no charge to the school for this exciting offer. So if you are a secondary school that would be interested in the 6-week Streetwise Law /Young Greenwich programme, please contact us at info@streetwiselaw.com or young-greenwich.org.uk or call us on 07834 827606. We usually work with students from year 9 or 10 but the programme content can be adapted to work with younger or older children.
