1Wall - Young Leadership Training Programme

Young Greenwich members from Hawksmoor Youth Hub took part in a 1Wall Young Leadership Training Programme that is designed to give students the skills and confidence to lead, coach, and inspire others through wallball. This is a free training and is an engaging, youth-focused training helping students build confidence and leadership skills, learn how to coach and mentor younger pupils, develop communication and teamwork and become positive role models.

Aligning with the values of the Jack Petchey Foundation, the programme supports personal development while creating opportunities for students to take on meaningful leadership roles, as the 7 youth forum members took part in the 2-hour training session during half-term. Certain members of the group were awarded a Jack Petchey Award for their Enthusiasm, timing and for supporting others, including Dan the trainer, when others needed that extra support.
