PGL - Ashford – Residential 2026

Young Greenwich hubs (Avery Hill, Hawksmoor, Valley Central and Woolwich) took 36 young people away on a  2-night, 3-day residential trip to PGL in Ashford over the summer holidays. An opportunity for personal development and growth and to reset before heading back to education in September.

The young people took part in a wide range of activities, such as rock climbing, zip wire, raft building, giant swing, laser tag, and much, much more, promoting confidence, teamwork and stepping outside of their comfort zones (some maybe for the first time).

Some of the young people, having not experienced staying away from home, were given the chance to gain a real sense of independence, life skills that come naturally to some, and to push themselves to the limits, enjoying a couple of days with their friends, making memories and creating positive moments that I’m sure they will all look back on and remember in years to come.
