Young Greenwich goes to Southend for the Day!
On Friday, 31st July, Young Greenwich Youth Services members and staff visited Adventure Island in Southend. They spent the day experiencing new things, making long-lasting memories and enjoying the sun while getting their thrills on the rides and dipping a toe or two in the sea.
"I have never been on a roller-coaster before, and if I’m honest, I was slightly nervous at first, but with the Young Greenwich staff encouraging me and allowing me to attend this day trip I was able to try something new and had a really lovely day!” said a young person from Avery Hill Youth Hub.

The weather stayed perfect throughout the day, and everyone had a great day and is counting down the days till they can go again. A big thank you to all staff who supported before, during and after this trip and to those who made this possible. Where to next, I wonder?
