26th February 2019 11:59am

On Friday 22 February, Young Greenwich hosted its first party of the year as part of the monthly party series. The party took place at Woolwich Common Youth Hub and was attended by different young people across the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Members from Hawksmoor and Avery Hill Youth hub also attended the party.

Happy about the night, Ebony from Hawksmoor Youth Hub said:

“My favourite part of the night was everything in general! As everyone started ‘hyping’ it up, the vibe and atmosphere just came. I will definitely come to the next party. Make sure you come!”

From refreshments to the music from the resident DJ at Woolwich Common, the party had a positive atmosphere which the young people really enjoyed. Two members of Young Greenwich also won £25 spending vouches as part of the prize draw on the night.

Marketing & Outreach Officer Shade said:

“It was great to see young people from different parts of the Borough and different hubs coming together for a social night. They had the opportunity to get to know each other and living their best lives.”

The next party will be on Friday 29 March 2019 at Woolwich Common Youth Hub. For further details please click here >>
