National Vegetarian Week 2018 runs from 14-20 May and it’s all about eating delicious and exciting veggie food.

An initiative run by The Vegetarian Society, the week encourages people to learn about healthy living and try out fantastic vegetarian dishes. Influencing, inspiring and supporting people to embrace and maintain their vegetarian lifestyle, The Vegetarian Society have sponsored Hawksmoor youth hub in Thamesmead to be a part of the movement.

From 14h-20 May, Hawksmoor will host workshops for young people aged 10-19 across the Royal Borough of Greenwich in support of National Vegetarian Week 2018.

Giving young people the opportunity to know more about what the vegetarian lifestyle looks like and its health benefits, the workshops will also help them learn how to cook delicious meat-free meals.

If you live or study in Royal Greenwich and you are aged 10-19, come along to Hawksmoor  and try out some mouth-watering recipes for FREE!
