Want to perform on stage alongside Olly Murs at the Indigo2 in February 2013? Find out how you can take part!

The winning act of Perform:2013 will get the chance to perform at Charlton Athletic Community Trust’s 20 year anniversary event at the Indigo2 in February 2013, featuring Olly Murs.

Perform:2013 is a new and exciting competition for young performers, aged 10-19 (up to 25 with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities), living in the Greenwich and Bexley boroughs.

The competition is open to bands or individuals and each entry will be given the use of recording studios at different venues around Greenwich and Bexley, which can be used up to six times to record their chosen song.

You will need to register online by Monday 10th December.

The five acts who impress the most will then be invited to a top secret venue to perform in front of a select panel, including Dave Berry, Capital FM Breakfast show host and the Greenwich Youth Service Ambassador, and Cllr Jackie Smith, the Royal Borough of Greenwich's Cabinet Member for Children's Service.

Dave Berry said, ‘This is a great opportunity for young people to take to a stage where a number of stars have previously performed.  The winning act will have the chance to step on stage before Olly Murs and experience what its like to perform in front of nearly 3000 people, which isn't something young people would usually have the chance to do. I'm looking forward to judging the talent!'
