Charlton Triangle Homes shaping up for summer

The youth summer programme delivered by Charlton Triangle Homes (CTH) is coming back later this month. Available to young people aged 6-19 who live in Royal Greenwich, their programme will include a range of action-packed activities to make your summer memorable.

From Monday 23 July to Friday 24 August the summer programme will be open for five weeks at the following locations:

  • Cherry Orchard Primary School- Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
    61 Marlborough Ln, London SE7 7DG 
  • Springfield Grove pitch- Tuesdays & Thursdays
    Hervey Road, SE3 8BU

There will be many activities taking place during the day, from 10am-12pm for under 12s and 1pm-3pm for young people between 12 and 19.  

SPORTS & FITNESS

Whether you want to try a new sport or get into shape, there is plenty to do at CTH’s summer programme. Get stuck in with football skills and exciting matches with Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT), Box fit, Tag Rugby, Street Hockey, Cycling and a fantastic new tennis programme over the summer.

HAIR & BEAUTY

Interested in hair and beauty? Learn all about hair styling and the basics of make up in this one-day workshop over the summer.

ARTS & CRAFTS 

Take part in a range of arts & craft workshops and make your own creations including painting, balloon modelling, T-shirt making and design.

DIGITAL MEDIA

Love all things digital? This summer you could be getting hands on with digital media. Get involved with some scratch animation or photography courses that will take your skills to the next level. 

Want more? Take your music skills to the street with one of Young Greenwich’s partners, Young Urban Arts Foundation (YUAF). This summer, you will have the opportunity to get involved in music production and DJ mixing workshops on YUAF’s media bus.

LONDON FIRE BRIGADE COURSE

Thinking about getting some fire brigade experience? The Local Intervention Fire Education (LIFE) is offering young people aged 13-16 a five-day course at Lee Green Fire Station. Get hands on and learn the job of a real fire fighter.

TRIPS

Want to get out of London during the summer? Have a family day out and head over to Margate Beach on Saturday 4 August.

To end the summer right, CTH is also offering 7ups day trips for young people who have shown good behaviour over the summer.
