Young Greenwich is delighted to announce that 23-year old singer/songwriter Autumn Sherif, has agreed to become an ambassador for the youth service.
Autumn has had a long relationship with Young Greenwich and Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT). Based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Autumn started her journey at Woolwich Common Youth Hub during her teenage years. Spending her time at one of the four main youth hubs in the Borough, she was able to work on her passion for singing and developed as a professional artist over the years.
Determined about her dreams, the former Young Greenwich member expressed her love for music like no other, creating the start of her own career path.
Autumn won the singing competition Perform in 2014 and a year later, went to compete on The Voice UK where she reached the quarter-finals. Keeping close ties with CACT, Autumn was also on the judging panel for both Perform 2015 and 2018, where she performed as a support act for CACT’s fundraising concert.
Head of Youth Service, Jeannette said:
“It is a pleasure and a privilege to have Autumn as the ambassador for the youth service. Autumn was a member of the youth service for a number of years in her youth and will prove to be a positive role model and an inspiration to our young people”
Excited about her new adventure with Young Greenwich, Autumn said:
“I truly feel blessed as I begin once again a journey with the Charlton Athletic Community Trust. As an ambassador I am committed to do my very best and give my hand whilst sharing my experiences with the young people in Greenwich. To be inspiring and motivating them the same way I have been.”
Autumn will be performing at Young Greenwich Day on Saturday 6 October. Click here to find out more about the day and see her live in action>>
