Young Radio Producer Volunteer Project

In partnership with Young Greenwich, Royal Museums Greenwich is offering a free programme to 15 young people aged 15-18 who live or study in Royal Borough of Greenwich.

The Young Radio Producer Project will be taking place at the National Maritime Museum from Monday 22 – Friday 26 October 2018 from 10am - 4pm.

Why you should take part

Taking part in this project will help boost your experiences and develop confidence in public speaking. As part of the programme, you will…

  • Learn how to work in a recording studio
  • Work with professional curators to develop your own creative response
  • Add invaluable skills to your CV
  • Gain accreditation
  • Work with industry professional

As part of the project, Royal Museums Greenwich is also offering young people the opportunity to create podcast series around Black History Month.

To become a volunteer, you must:

  • Be open to try new things!
  • Be aged 15-18
  • Live or study in the Royal Borough of Greenwich
  • Apply by Wednesday 17 October
  • Be able to volunteer for 5 days from Monday 22 – Friday 26 October 2018
