Young Musicians Volunteer Project

In partnership with Young Greenwich, Royal Museums Greenwich is offering a free programme to 15 young people aged 15-18 who live or study in Royal Borough of Greenwich.

The Young Musicians Volunteer Project will be taking place at the National Maritime Museum from Monday 30 July – Friday 10 August 2018 from 10am - 4pm.

Taking part in this project will broaden your experiences and develop your musical skills.  You will…

  • Learn new music production skills as you work alongside professional musicians and sound engineers
  • Develop your confidence in creative writing skills
  • Gain an accredited Bronze Arts Award qualification

As part of the project, Royal Museums Greenwich is also offering young people the opportunity to create a National Maritime Museum mixtape.

To become a volunteer, you must:

  • Be open to try new things!
  • Be aged 15-18
  • Live or study in the Royal Borough of Greenwich
  • Apply by Friday 20 July 2018.
  • Be able to volunteer for 2 weeks from Monday 30 July – Friday 10 August.
