Our talent search is back! Following on from the success of last year’s competition we will be running Perform:2014 and the top two winners will have the chance to perform at the IndigO2 in February 2014.
Last year the winning acts performed live on stage at the IndigO2 alongside Olly Murs and Lawson, in front of a 2,600-sellout crowd, for the Trust’s 20th Anniversary Concert.
Perform:2014 is an exciting competition for young performers, aged 10-19 (up to 25 with LDD), living in the Greenwich and Bexley boroughs.
Alfiah Brown, aged 16, was one of the winners of Perform:2013, she said, “It was so exciting to perform at the IndigO2, it was an amazing experience! The one thing I love about music is that it allows you to express yourself and just be you and it was great to be able to perform in front of so many people.”
Nothing Major, a five piece collaboration band, were the other winning act from last year, "We were so grateful for the opportunity. You can accomplish anything if you stay focused, persistent and committed. The last thing on our minds was performing our song at the IndigO2 as a warm-up for Olly Murs. It was a wow moment!”
