It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

Monday 21st November 2016

The air is getting colder and the nights are drawing in. Christmas is getting closer and Young Greenwich has exciting plans ahead for the festive season.

The highlight of the Christmas season will be the Young People’s Christmas Party taking place at Woolwich Common Youth Hub on Friday 2nd December from 6.45pm to 10pm

Costing only £3, there will be food and drink, festive games and Christmassy disco. It is open to all members of Young Greenwich from across the borough.

Young Greenwich will also be going to see the Christmas Pantomime at Greeenwich Theatre on Friday 9th December. Tickets to see Peter Pan cost £10 and can be picked up with a complete consent form at your nearest youth hub.

Hawksmoor Youth Hub in Thamesmead also has some special seasonal events lined up. Members will be holding a Christmas fete from 12pm-5pm on Saturday 10th December with a raffle, tombola, arts and crafts, hot dogs and lots more to help raise funds for the youth hub.

Members will also be visiting Lakeview care home to sing carols for the elderly on Tuesday 13th December.

Young Greenwich Youth Hubs will close on Thursday 15th December for Christmas and will re-open to young people on Tuesday 10th January 2017.
