The TV Presenter and Capital FM breakfast show host paid a visit to SE7 to officially open the new Nike Superstore, after an extensive two week refit by the club’s new kit supplier.
The Superstore has been completely modernised, with new Nike fixtures and fittings to provide more space for supporters to move around inside and fantastic displays to showcase the new Nike products.
Although celebrating his 34th birthday, Berry greeted and posed with Charlton supporters who turned up to the launch to meet him and get a look at the new store.
Dave Berry said, ‘It’s an honour to be here and open the new store, which is looking much improved. It’s also fantastic that the football league decided to have the CAFC vs. Palace game tonight on my birthday. I now declare the swankiest Superstore in football open!’
Dave Berry will also select the winner of a Greenwich photography competition later this year.
The Trust is running a project called Photo: Greenwich, which is designed to illustrate what it means to be a young person in the royal borough.
Winners of each age group will receive an SLR digital camera and an opportunity to go on a shoot with a professional photographer for a day.
