The Trust is offering young people the chance to start their Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Award in Royal Greenwich.
The DofE Award gives all young people aged 14-24 the chance to develop skills for life and work, fulfill their potential and have a brighter future.
DofE aim to create a world where young people can reach their full potential whatever their circumstances. Their ethos is to enable every young person of every background to do their DofE and succeed, regardless of any barriers.
By doing your DofE, you're in for an amazing adventure and masses of fun as you take part in a range of activities, all leading to the achievement of an Award that's recognised by universities and employers alike.
You can do programmes at three levels which when completed, lead to a Bronze, Silver or Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
Charlton Athletic Community Trust will be giving young people the chance to do their Bronze and Silver Awards and will provide expedition training and on-going support.
The course will be held at Woolwich Common Youth Hub, Nightingale Place, SE18 4HE, on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 5-7pm.
