Robbie Harrison is a young person who is a member of West Thamesmead Youth Club (WTYC). Harrison is an extremely hard working individual who has taken that attitude with him into the ring.
Boxing since April 2014, last year saw a lot for Robbie as he passed the BTEC Level 1 Sports and Active Leisure and is currently doing his BTEC Level 2 Sports and Active Leisure programme.
As well as this and a weekend job, Robbie trains 3 times a week at TRAD TKO GYM for Bad Boy Promotions in order for him to compete as a Boxer.
One of his Youth workers was at his first fight ending with an undecided result. However you couldn’t say that about his second as the referee had to intervene two times making sure Robbie’s opponent was fit to carry on.
“I got a bit tired, but kept going and won”, said the boxer himself.
One of the Youth workers watching these fights said: “I think Robbie is full of ambition and is an inspiration to his friends and family”.
Robbie had the support of his friends and family. He made everyone proud and put on a show that got everyone off their feet. Look out for young Robbie Harrison in the boxing ring in the future.
