The Royal Borough of Greenwich has a fantastic opportunity for local residents to be an Apprentice Gardener.
The Apprenticeship will include:
- 15 month placement
- Full time role (35 hours per week)
- Includes day release to college
- Training allowance provided
- All training and mentoring included
This role will enable the apprentice to gather a wide range of basic and specialist skills and knowledge in gardening. The placement will be set in a number of locations in some of the many parks and open spaces in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Work will include hedge trimming, clearing leaves planting, pruning, grass seeding, mulching, etc. as well as assisting with skilled horticultural operations.
Applicants must be residents of the Royal Borough of Greenwich. These vacancies are not open to those who hold a degree.
