The Greenwich Games continued last Thursday with the finals of the table-tennis competition.
Again young people travelled from across the Royal Borough to Valley Central Youth Club to compete.
Two young people from West Thamesmead Youth Centre took part into the competition, Fola Koku and Matt Cybulski, with Fola making it to the finals and becoming the eventual winner.
Fola won an iPad and the runner up from Hawksmoor Youth Club, Robbie Thompson won £100 sports shop voucher.
We asked Fola how she felt about her victory, she said, “I am very happy and was really pleased I won an iPad. I will encourage more young girls to take part into sports and opportunities such as this competition.”
Matt Horne, Youth Partnership Manager, added, “Carrying on from last week where we held the Greenwich Games Pool finals, the table tennis competition was even more popular, allowing young people from across the borough to engage in positive activity."
